Need way to reset resolution settings externally (settings tab crashes).
-
I need a help.
BMS crashes when i am trying to enter settings.
I noticed that i set incorrect resolution in settings and now i cannot do anything. I am getting crashes when i am trying to enter 3D or settings.Does anybody know which file is responsible for resolution settings? This way i could reset it to proper value and i bet that it could fix my problem. I cannot change it to proper value trough settings tab because BMS crashes everytime i am trying to open settings tab.
Or is there any way to force BMS to run on specific resolution without entering settings?
There must be some registry entry or a file that is holding all the settings, but i cannot find it. Anybody has any idea?

I was able to resolve issue by removing files from user folder.

There is a topic for this in the hotlist.

I seen it but i was looking for specific file containing resolution settings.
I just deleted most of files in user directory and i got it to work.Problem wasn’t the refresh rate but resolution i guess. I just accidentally choosed second monitor to dislay full HD and this caused the problem i think as my second monitor was not capable of full HD resolution. I should choose primary screen instead of secondary.

I believe the relevant file is dx9display.dsp
