Bright "circle" on HUD when using NVG

Hi all

I apologize for this newb question, but during night missions and when using NVG, N key command, is it possible to lessen the brightness of the “circle” in the middle of the HUD? I find extremely difficult to see anything on the HUD display when the circle is really bright. Can I decrease the brightness somehow?

HUD brightness is turned down by using the SYM wheel, or switching to night mode via the HUD panel on the right side of the cockpit.

This is normal, and made on purpose.

but during night missions

For night flight, goal is to set the HUD to the minimum possible luminosity. On the right console, set the HUD to “Night” and reduce the lum to the minimum applicable. This will ensure the best setting for night flight.
