If you are wondering about the Nvidia settings and the graphics settings in BMS, this video provides useful instructions (alongside the BMS manual of course):
-
I heard recently there is a problem in Win10 and the latest drivers in regard to DX9 Apps.
A search might throw some light on your problems , or try a older driver.

same problem….1070 ti and windows 10 ver.1709…AA don’t work.

I think this issue is related to the Game Mode feature which came with the recent Windows 10 Creator Update. One solution that worked for me and made the AA in BMS work again is: right-hand click on Falcon BMS.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Disable full screen Optimization

Great Video! Have a question. Tried running in windows mode but once i clicked on commit the screen disappears or i should say it shows my desktop. I can hear the simulator running in the background but just my desktop is visible and mouse cursor also disappears. Any thoughts?

Yes , don’t run in Windowed mode.
PS: Why would you want to ? Unless your troubleshooting.

I never had such a problem with window mode, instead, fullscreen always crashes 2D UI when Alt+Tab to check WDP or any PDFs…
Anyway, for your case, the good solution seems to use fullscreen mode.
-
This isn’t strictly related with the thread, but also keep in mind that if you want to use a profile from NVIDIA Control Panel the settings will not work if you run BMS in windowed mode (only in game settings will have effect).
OTOH the Alt+Tab crashy behaviour is well known, so it’s up to you to decide what you need the most. -
Hello boys….help my for driver for gtx1060…what driver for this card is great?

Dude, seriously, I’ve been using in game-AA ever since M$ “forced” me to update my perfectly stable 1703 build to the “Fall Creator’s” edition. I checked the box, and BOOM, I can use nVidia Inspector again. Where did you read this tip? I had been through the entire “Loss of Antialiasing After Fall Creator Update” thread here on bmsforum. Could I have simply missed it?? Either way, this is just what I needed to read.

Guessing that its not centered on the screen (maybe due to a multiple monitor setup). To get round this just load up the Falcon Bms launcher and go to cockpit display extraction. on the left click “Main” and then you will see adjust window rectangle. Make sure the Left and Top is set to 0 and 0.
Hope this helps…

Not entirely sure what the problem would be…… sounds like a driver issue. So far as I know this is a new one and cannot deter without looking at your Nvidia settings related to your setup what the issue would be. Wish I could be of more help… Something isn’t right for sure!

I had the same issue you describe, and the same graphics card. I didn’t get any help with my issue from the forum but I did find a solution as described here
Alternatively, delete the Nvidia profile and just use the in-game MSAA & AF settings, it still looks great but prevents the card taking rendering load off your CPU so you’ll get lower FPS.

Thank you.How bad is your UI FPS ? Does make a difference to flight creation or is it Input lag that is the issue?
