Activate anti aliasing, increase graphic resolution, change the FOV to"zoom" a little bite.
-
thank you Arty…worked well really appreciate you getting back with help so fast
-
Sounds like you are only familiar with the older 2D falcon versions. In bms 3D pit you need to zoom in (with mouse wheel normally) to clearly view instruments/mfd`s etc
-
It is only the texture-rendered screens (MFD, DED, HUD) that get distorted by unmatching resolution level. Fixable by setting zoom factor so that they match “close” the real resolution.
If there is other blurriness with needle instruments or cockpit overall, then there is something else wrong. Perhaps GPU driver settings or incorrect resolution not matching your screen or some such. -
-
Your resolution is very low.
What´s your native resolution in the main screen?
-
Don’t be surprised is you can’t read gauges with this wide FOV.
-
i haven’t had this until recently
@trueno
that is my native -
Drivers/Settings updated?
-
as far as i know, yes…whenever i go into " check for driver updates "on my laptop it says up to date
edit:
just went on intels website and used there updater scan and recieved this:Product Detected Intel
HD Graphics 3000
Current Driver Installed 8.15.10.2353
A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.i know laptops are not ideal for gaming or in this case simming but wondering why this just started happening
at first i just thought it was a mod issue so about a week or so ago i re-installed bms from scratch with no mods and still had the issue if iirc

Meaby the asintropic filter, look into your GPU settings, meaby this setting is OFF
-
Yeah it looks like anisotropic filtering is off.
-
still no change with af on through graphics properties form pc or through in sim settings
-
sometimes i dont change anything like pov or zoom and ill see it flashing from blurry to clear back and forth
-
Is your PC overclocked?
-
An odd thought - is motion blur enabled?
-
no and no

makes me wonder whether its a performance issue or whether its some kind of setting making the graphics card stuff up the rendering.
