Keyboard throttle control not working?
-
Hi All,
Maybe a mistake from my side, but if I select Throttle control to ‘keyboard’ it is not responding at all in BMS 4.32. I found out if the Logitech Gaming Software panel is quit, the in-game configuration suddenly accepts keystroke inputs. But during flight still nothing. I have a Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard. Is it necessary to make a profile for Falcon 4.0 with all the possible keys entries in it? That would be a lot of work.

check the keyfile make sure you using the correct keys I would suggest the vars to look for are
AFCoarseThrottleUp -1 0 0xC8 5 0 0 1 “FCTRL: Throttle Step Up”
AFCoarseThrottleDown -1 0 0xD0 5 0 0 1 “FCTRL: Throttle Step Down”
AFThrottleUp -1 0 0xC8 6 0 0 1 “FCTRL: Throttle Forward”
AFThrottleDown -1 0 0xD0 6 0 0 1 “FCTRL: Throttle Back”
AFABOn -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “FCTRL: Throttle Min. Afterburner”
AFABFull -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “FCTRL: Throttle Full Afterburner”
AFIdle -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “FCTRL: Throttle Idle”you can find them in the BMS - Full keyfile section 6.03

Thanks Ninja, just started my vacation and looked at the key bindings. So the throttle moves forward with Ctrl + Alt + Up Arrow, and steps up with Shift + Alt + Up Arrow. I’m able to use this now. But I also enabled the gas handle on my Joystick. Works fine too.
