So I found this great map file in the doc folder, and loaded it in the CH control program, followed the directions to a “T”. The only change I made was the addition of the pro peddles. All flight controls work, and the throttle joy stick operates the radar target courser. The problem is that none of the other function are working. I think the problem is in the Key file. BMS has a key file called Basic.key. I tried picking that file in the setup, but no luck. I see that the instructions say to use BMS_Keystrokes_Ver_1_5_Basic.key, however, I do not have that file, and it is not in the Docs. The actual script is in the direction, I could cut and paste the text but that seems tedious.

My question is do you need this key file to make the it work, and if so, where can I find the file, it does not seem to be in the docs.

just to follow up on this, I noticed that the CH controls register in the BMS controls window when pressed, but have no function listed. I’m not a script writer, just load the maps, and they seem to work, except this one.

what keyfile do you actually use?
Did you try with the “BMS - Basic.key” located in the user/config folder?

BMS basic and BMS basic 1.5 might be of the same origin due to name
but honestly I’m not a CH user.

That file might be outdated and bever was changed while the keyfile changed ….

Yea used the BMS basic config file, and tried a few more I found , even tried to create one with editor. Ended up just programming keys with the CH program. I really don’t understand how direct x controls work, have to look at,it when I get a chance.
