IKAROS 4.1.1: datalink training

Hi folks,

here’s a very simple TE I created in order to teach the basics of the IDM / datalink functionality (nothing you couldn’t click together in 10 minutes in TE editor, but I thought maybe others could find this helpful).

You’re “Cowboy1”, an F-16 2-ship based at Souda AB (LGSA) tasked with taking out the Karpathos radar station. Two other flights in the package provide ample opportunity to play with datalink settings. Tanker supoort (“Camel1”) is available tracking from Sitia to Iraklion, AWACS (“Chalis1”) is situated to the Northeast near Santorini.

The SEAD flight will have fun with the Rapier ADS near Karpathos airport, so you can also practise a holding pattern until the AI disables the SEAD threat.
