Install Problems

I am having a tough time with the installation of update 7. I somehow got the U1-U6 to install from the torrent. I dont even know how I got that done. I clicked every thing I could out of frustration on this qb torrent software and I must have clicked something right (I have no idea what) and the set up screen popped up. So I installed. Everything works great. I tried to install 7 but I cant get it done and I’m following the instructions. The U7 deal says it good to go, and that i need to run the set up. I go to do that and I get two options. 1) Search for updated on the internet and 2) Uninstall. So i choose 1. Then it says it cant do the internet thing. So I’m stuck. I have the stuff but I cant get it to install and update to 7. I’m wanting to fly online, but this is very very confusing on the torrents, update procedures and the like. Any advise is appreciated. I’m apologizing advance for my lack of computer operating vocabulary.

Thanks!! Appreciate it. I suppose that means a new install? Then I suppose my next question would be about saving stuff like current campaigns, logbook, and probably most important for me is the keymapping I did to match my HOTAS. Took some time and would prefer not to have to go through that pain again.
