And here feel free to post and inform us for any issues/bugs you will find into Aegean theater v2.x.
Be as more precise you can with a good description of the issue and when needed give also the coordinates of the position that be that issue.
Also a photo helps a lot.

There’s a big black patch on the ground near Kasteli AB on Crete:
Will report more findings as I go along, thanks again for this wonderful theater Nikos!

EDIT: I’ve found several more of these black blotches on the island an can provide screenshots (some around Souda, east of Rethimnon on the north coast and three more near Timbaki). Let me know if you want me post screenshots of those as well!

I hope you can make out the TGP coordinates:
The one on the north coast near Rethyimnon:
The ones on the Souda peninsula:
(also one on the north face of the hill to west of Souda airport)
Some more on the Northwestern tip near Balos: (didn’t manage to catch the coordinates of those, but they’re quite easy to spot)
Three more near Timbakion:
No biggie, just some coastal areas that blend into the mountains on the Southwestern tip of Crete:
I created a quick TE and am happy to report that both AAR and AWACS worked flawlessly, great work!
I hope you find these useful, sorry for not being able to supply precise coordinates for all of them.

My dear Uwe, thanks for your post. Really shows care and interest to help.
BUT I will tell you 1 more time: You don’t help us the correct way!
It is super easy for you when you are in the area with the issue to get an OFLY Markpoint and post here the photo from into the cockpit to show the DED. It isn’t a must to be seemed the issue, as to can read someone (means from the team) the GPS coordinates.
So please make a nice try again and post this time as I suggest you photos per case with coordinates via an OFLY Markpoint. Simply show the DED!

O.k. Uwe, I just flew near Rethimnon city and checked the around area. It is just nice and correct.
My exact position on the below 3 photos is: N35 21.216 E24 02.617.
I use right now the manual installer, but I asked my partner Ned “starrats” and he confirmed the same for the automatic installer.
Did you applied any other 3D party add-on? And if yes which one/ones? Did you made a correct installation or you had any issues on it?
What windows do you use, graphics card and driver for it?
Do you use maybe the program for rendering the images (I don’t remember its name)?
Be as much more informative you can in order to help you my friend ;).

It is a good thinking, BUT I believe it is something on Uwe’s side.
By the way, do you have installed the automatic version? If yes, please go and check the position N35 21.216 E24 02.617 like in my above 3 photos.
THEN we will “secure” that is not an installer case, but something on “hoover” side.

Hello Nikos,
thanks for checking the issues. I don’t use any 3rd-party addons and used the manual installer. I updated my nvidia drivers the other day for the new GPU I installed (1070i), BMS appeared to work fine afterwards but I’ll check other theaters to see if they display similar problems (Aegean was the first one I tried with the new GPU, naturally :))
I’ll check again and use OFLY markpoints from now on.

It looks like night tiles are showing… I couldn’t see that from my phone earlier. but I see those road lights in the black tiles now that i am on PC.
I flew around in FastForward X8, and limitless fuel to all said locations and more, but no black tile for me. Maybe a tile is missing somehow, does that ever happen if they decompress incorrectly?
I don’t know but , try a reinstall or maybe even re download and reinstall. and if it persists… then we will see… -
I re-installed the theater using the automatic method this time and I’m happy to report the black blotches on Crete are gone (checked it using “instant action / moving mud” around Crete).

Well right now I can’t help you for this specific 2738.dds texture file in which use belongs.
But why don’t you define it as an other “free” dds, like the 8082.dds?
And please you should posted in the main Aegean theater thread, not here.
This is NOT a theater issue! It is a personal specific usage problem ;).

Nikos.Sorry, but the Dutch F-16 is removed. can not renumber JanHas dds files. So it is, in my collered dutch opinion a theater issue.

The RWR of the f-16 52 CFT of the ‘343’ is not working ok.
Showing symbols when nothing actually should be shown, but also wrongs symbols.
BMS MFD extractor RWR shows the correct symbols.Hope this helps.

Well I just checked the specific block (HAF 52+ with CFT), and about the wrong symbols you are not correct.
It has exactly the symbols like the same one of default Korea theater.
Below 2 photos from a block 52 and 52+, so maybe you were confused about wrong symbols?
From a 2 ship of F-16C block 52:
And from a 2 ship of F-16C block 52+:
At both cases follow a same block type, and at 52 shown a “16”, where at 52+ shown a “6” plus a box. But these photos are from Korea, and of couse we have exactly the same into Aegean theater.
The last thing is that you may noticed to have warnings (symbols) when nothing in the air was close to you.
I will check it also.

Was a bit confused because in cockpit it shows the ‘new’ things, but the at sametime lightnings extractor RWR shows the ‘old’ familiar style. -

Well maybe to ask if the BMS Extractor needs any specific setting in order to show properly the symbols of the F-16 block 52+ or it is a normal behavior that?
In any case, Aegean theater’s F-16C block 52+'s are super conformal with the default ones of Korea theater ;).
