And as war technology advances, so does the F-16.
The fourth iteration of the F-16, the F-16A/B Block 15 coupled along with the Operational Capability Upgrade, brings a lot the fight, Including a new horizontal stabilizer design for increased maneuverability, a much capable AN/APG/66 version 2 radar for increased reliability, the new secure Have Quick II secure UHF radio for a 100% secure communication between the pilot and mission elements, and much more.

The F-16, Just got better.
It’s not a contradiction, It’s the F-16.

Hello Pilot! And Welcome To The F-16A/B 3D Cockpit Project!

This is my attempt at creating the legendary Block 15 of the F-16 family, With a HQ model and HD textures, This project aims to give you the best experience the F-16 has to offer and also a nice new challenge at getting used to the almost complete new cockpit layout of the Block 15.

F.A.Q.

When will it be released?
It’s quite hard to really say, Since I’m doing it when I’m free and want to ensure it’s a quality 3D model, I’d say in 3 to 4 weeks :p.

Will you model the back seat in the B variant?
Right now, It’s a no, there’s no twin seat player modality in BMS MP so it’ll be useless to create a part of a cockpit that will never be seen by normal means and will have an impact in performance, although this might change if future releases allow for twin seat flight.

Will it include the original avionics of the A/B models?
This is a feature that at least myself can’t include due to the lack of coding knowledge I have and the lack of avionics documentation, but if someone does it, I’ll gladly include it.

What can I do to help the development of this project?
Any Info/Photos/Videos/Sounds of the F-16A cockpit are appreciated!

Once done, will it be included in the Vanilla BMS on the next version?
I’m not in the BMS Dev team, so no, at least no by me, but if the dev team wants to include it, they have my full permission to include it and modify it (if necessary for implementation).

Will you include a complete pilot model? E.G: moving arms?
Since in 4.34 and upwards the pilot model can be toggled on and off, I’ll try to make working moving arms that moves with the throttle and stick.

Will it include an external model?
No, that is already covered by JanHas exceptional F-16A model, If you want to have the external model, Then JanHas’ website is where you should go

Will you release preview like version for us to test in-game?
Yes, When I reach a point where I believe in-sim feedback is needed for further corrections, I’ll release test versions.

Sorry about that, Tho, the image is old and outdated so here’s a better one:

I used black colors with an opacity betwen 3 and 30 to give it some depth, Then for the lighter areas i used the dodge tool (wich also give it the paint a worn out look!).
But overall i thank janhas for doing the paintkit for me!

The developing the cockpit it’s alive, But, Thanks to the “Socialist Energy” that my country has, One of the “Shutdown for Repairs” :-x my HDD Died and all the models and textures are long gone
I have another drive tho, But it’s clean so, I might have to redo the whole work again, What pain the *** tbh.
Anyways, Sorry for this horrible inconvinience.

I tried using that one, But as i said the driver that had the models is damaged, so i can’t actually get the files back, And i feel sorry because i’m sure atleast one was hoping to get the old pit of the viper, (i mean korea 1980’s with that pit it would be awesome!) but yeah, sheet happens and well atleast it wasn’t my fault (phew).
But as school goes on, It’s hard to get the things going.

maybe in my free times i’ll start again.

Anyway, I found up i got the psd kit from jan in my google drive files! so at least i can make a skin!

Does the bios see the HDD?
If yes use hirens boot CD.
You can run some tools from windows also.
If it has some life this hirens can do miracles…

Well the bios show it up, But i couldn’t recover anything since the drive make that clicking of death (or something idk.)and it doesn’t boot, Therefore i shall create the model again, But thanks god i saved the bookmarks where i have all the models page and photos (Thanks Google Sync!) so the only thing i have to do is download again the models and start again.

Use 3 plastic bags. Put the disk inside.
Close them firmly.
Put it in the freezer (where ice cubes are created) for 20 - 30 minutes.
Take it out and as fast plug it 2 your PC and start it up. U might have just one chance.
So think before and be prepared.
Two out of 5 times it saved my ass. One more the first I was stupid enough to think it was fixed and I shutdown. That was it, never spined ever again.
Additionally you could suck the air first from the bags while the disk is inside and quickly seal it. This is to remove moisture.
Some leave it in the freezer for hours. You could do that for a second try if the first is a failure.
