PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MODDING BMS
-
Further to the above guidelines:
If you import mods from other software, open source or not, payware or freeware,
And wish to advertise or share your work in this forum, we expect the following:Proper credits should be stated in the FIRST post, perferably in the topic TITLE
Credits mean- name of the original product,
- name or company details of the author
- web link
That will avoid unnecessary questions being raised later on as the source of the original work.
We feel it is much better for this to be addressed at earlier stages, WIP or not, rather than in a 15 thread topic pageThank you for respecting this.
Mods will openly question any mods than do not follow those guidelinesAdded by Dee-Jay:

Thank you for comprehension and compliance.

It’s a deleted thread, privileged users such as Mods and above can see it. Recommend we update the sticky to reflect that change.

Yes. Modifying data is on your own responsibility, but you can modify what you want and release it as a mod, if you like, no problems with that.
Now, regarding this specific case, I’d suggest to contact someone within BMS and suggest your improvements and the reasons behind them, if it makes sense, we may consider to include the changes in BMS itself.
