No activity at any airbase during campaign?

I have noticed that most of the bases I fly my offline KTO campaigns from that there is very little traffic arriving and/or departing from the base. I do see lots of F16’s, of course, but no other aircraft are arriving or departing.

Also, while flying to my IP, any other bases I happen to fly close by, I don’t see any any activity.

I find it curious that in the middle of an active campaign, that there are no other flights arriving or departing from either my current base or any other bases.

Cap, I’ve noticed that. But if I look at the map in UI during briefing you see flights going back and forth. I’ve always assumed that airport modeling is just minimized to save on graphics load.

Flying around checking airbases IS NOT the way to see if there is activity.

Check the ATO, and make sure you have “Show all Packages” checked!!

I just find it odd that there doesn’t seem to be any other active airfields except for the one I am currently posted.
When I have flown by an allied airfield on my flightpath, I simply have noticed a lack of activity. Kimpo is a prime example. Isn’t it a major airport in South Korea? If so, during a conflict, should there not be a massive airlaunch being undertaken?

Not all airbases have squadrons. And even if they did, that doesn’t mean while your flying over them that you will stumble upon them while they’re active.

Once again, check the ATO!!!

hmm. I have seen a lot of activities. In my campaign, I saw a lot of AI flights taking off or landing in other bases.

Well I guess it’s just luck of the draw.

I’ll say I have seen other allied aircraft in the air and have seen the occasional C17 taking off and landing at airbases, sometimes I have even been held short at the runway holding area so that a transport could land. How rude!

So there is air activity, just being in the right place at the right time to see is all it takes.
