Update U_7 problem

ok first off I want to thank you guys for making this wonderful sim I just want to say im not quick at understand at some things but never the less this sim is awesome!!!
I do have some issues with the update installer, the first one is when I go into configuration it says its at version 5.0 final 0, now when I go into the setup for the installation it says that update 6 is installed…
the second issue I had is when I download U_7 it doesnt even say I have it downloaded and I tired the process that was posted and I must be missing something, any help would be great

go to my hot list and grab base plus U1-U7… unrar it run setup and all will be magically ok.
