Instant Action Scores?
-
I have a Instant Action highest score of 100,500 and Im thinking that is really good, but I have nothing to compare it to. How high are your scores?
-
Man that seems really high, I donāt think I could do that.:thumb:
-
Way higher than anything Iāve got. I havenāt flown instant action in probably five years though.
-
ok dude, hereās some feedback for ya:
the good news is Iām ace of the base! woo hoo!! butā¦ā¦(thatās where the good news ends)
hereās where the spanking begins,
I tried 3 times, and getting 19,875 each timeBTW, what are your setup parameters for mission, wave, AD? All I changed was set to Ace.
-
L33T Hax yo!
-
well, I donāt think that.
But in order for me to give a more relevant result, I need the parameters I mentioned, and if labels on or off. Falcon>setup>realism rating/skill level.
Iām betting Iām the only one on this forum willing to put up a score for the OP.
Iāll give it another good try once I know the setup. No point in doing it some other kinda way than OP, I assume.

100,500 !?!?!? woooo video or it didnt happen.
-
100.500 is really good. My average is 60,000 in rookie skill level. The trick is to have your sensors already set up and pointing to where the 4 ship Mig 29 squadron appears. When I get the feeling that the Mig 29 Squadron might be spawning, I set my radar to TWS, select Amraams and slew the radar elevation to around 40.000 feet. This is where they spawn. Then I fire 4 Amraams simoultaneously and bug out. If you manage to defeat the Mig 29s the rest is easy again and 100.000 and more points are possible. How do you deal with the Mig 29s in instant action?
-
Iāve been doing it in dogfight mode with the radar boresighted. If I need to use my 120ās i just hit the MRM button during the dogfight mode and thatās good for one shot. With the bigger aircraft or if I think the shot is a little iffy I might hit the m button twice before I go back to dogfight mode. My biggest issue is time. With the limited fuel it all needs to happen fast. I think my 100,500 score is a fluke. My next highest is 70 something but If I average it all out its probably around 35 or 40 grand

The highest I ever got in āInstant Action -> Fighter Sweepā was around 33,000 in KTO I believe.
All the best, Uwe

I wish there was a way to have the jet more āreadyā (hmcs on/lights off/etc) when starting Instant Action. I dont have TrackIr and with Higher difficulty its hard to be ready before beeing shot at

Iāll check that thx! -
You guys are going to like this I bet.
I just did a hot pit refuel at Pusan.
If you can get Tower to put chocks on, you can get the refuel.
I pulled off the runway, just to the side in the grass, got chocks and refuel, pulled back onto runway and took off with 9200 fuel. -
My best score is 90.250ā¦
-
I thought you could also refuel with parking brake only? The main issue here will be selecting the correct UHF tower frequency I guess.
Cheers, Uwe
-
My best score is 159.250⦠It is not every time I get this much - also tried the low on fuel thing, found a base to land, refueled and got back into the fight. The high score was done in the Balkan theater and I believe that hiding in terrain helped me get this high score. I could sneak up on a target as it is easier to see a black dot in the sky rather than looking at the ground and seeing nothing but the groundā¦

Tried it on the runway with just brakes, but wouldnāt refuel. Got off and with brakes it wouldnāt . Off the runway, put the brakes, chocks, (and then call for hot pit refuel) and got it.
Some areaās canāt get chocks no matter what, I think. Not sure of accurate methodology requirements, as I only did it twice. I did not have to dial in Pusan, I was on Suwon and left it like that. There was this one base up north with no buildings that I couldnāt get it to work.
I move the map so I started over Pusan, thinking I want something familiar and close. (currently doing a good bit of dogfight practice there too) (It has what I like, close water, close mountains, and some flat land with buildings.)Iād conject that any major base will work same way. Havenāt tested though. Iāll let yaāll have fun sorting that out
What would be good is working Awacs. Itās sorta does, and sorta donāt.
