Update - Don’t use the FLCS reset. Use the paddle switch to reset the betty warning

Hi everyone.

Does anyone know how to cancel Betty in the Harrier when she goes crazy after TFR switch off.

In the F-16, I can click the FLCS Reset to stop the repeating “Pull Up” messages.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a reset in the Harrier and had to fly a long mission with Betty going nuts…

Any ideas?

DOH! Holding then releasing the paddle switch solved it. I can’t believe I missed that. It was driving me nuts.

you really need to learn to use the systems as they are intended

you do not use FLCS reset to cancel a fly up with the TFR
that is equivalent as reformatting your drive when Windows switches your icons from large to small on your desktop

Read the TFR training manual chapter, fly the TFR training mission and then adapt it top the harrier and then you may save yourself some trouble by mis-using the system

by saying you use the FLCS reset in the F-16, do you think you really help other ppl?
you’re rather spreading wrong procedures

I understand you might be new but please understand the fact that we worked thousands of hours on the manual, we appreciate them to be used rather than seeing these kind of comments
