    Lgb arming deley

      Hello all
      Please would someone please tell me why when i set the arming delay to 50 seconds for example it does not explode when the deley finshes.

        maybe because the bomb hit the ground before the arming delay timeout.
        Sounds pretty logical to me. Why would you have such a large arming delay of 50 seconds?

        the purpose of the AD is to prevent the bomb to damage the aircraft carrying the bomb before and during release… 50 seconds is counter productive as you just found out.
        It will Simply prevent the bomb to explode on impact because it is not armed yet.

          Perhaps he assumes the bomb to simply drop on ground and lay there, to explode after 50 seconds?I sure hope not that was his idea?Cheers Obi-

            it is arming delay, not explosion delay

            to get explosion, you must hit somethng

                  I was always curious how bombs didn’t break down the moment they hit the ground and instead waited for the delay. ))
