4:3 (?) display aspect ratio
-
I run Falcon BMS 4.33 U5 on my Acer laptop i7-7700HQ 2.8 GHz - 16GB RAM - Graphic card NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 (v.419.17).
I set in the setup menu resolution 1920x1080 75hz, but unexpectedly the game turns with a 4:3
aspect with 2 black side bands.
How can I set the game - if possible - to get 16:9 aspect ratio view?
thank you

Not sure if this is how I did it but try turning on cockpit displays to external windows in the config setup. If I recall, you lose full screen UI and stays in 4:3 but goes to 16:9 when you go into the cockpit. Hope that is what I did. Welcome by the way.

Add _-window to the .exe Right click on your desktop shortcut and add⌠Running in windowed mode, your UI screen will be old school but 3D will be fine.

Interesting, I donât have any of that in my setup. I think I did it the way johku posted in thread 22561 post #6
Start the BMS launcher â Configuration. Go to Hardware â External Displays.
Mark the â1. Cockpit Displays to External Windowsâ patch. Click âApply Changesâ. Exit the configurator.
From the BMS launcher â Cockpit Display Extraction.
For all items on the appearing window list, set âleftâ and âtopâ coordinates to 0.
Disable the borders for the main window.
[Optional] If you donât need the extracted displays, you can untick the âEnabledâ mark for all items on the same window list except for the main window, which you canât disable.
Hit âSave and Exitâ.
[Optional] If you want the 2D UI to be centered on your main screen, change the following setting in BMS\User\Config\falcon bms.cfg file from 0 to 1:set g_bCenterUI 0
This method should give you the windowed UI of BMS.
