Cannot Start/Communicate with Thrustmaster FAST Service
-
As in the title…i’m having trouble configuring my Warthog HOTAS to work with Morphines Profile and BMS
Its not keen on me assigning joystick axis in the Falcon Set Up Tab (specifically Joystick X/Y)
and if I try to run the device analyzer I get the “Cannot Start/Communicate with Thrustmaster FAST Service” error
If I run the script and the device analyzer outside BMS - it seem to function correctly (recognises the correct axis inputs/event tester shows the correct events for buttons pressed…
I’ve tried uninstalling the Target Software and a clean install but got the same occurrence…
Any suggestions? -
You can check joystick other than TARGET device analyzer, joy.cpl is good enough for axis.
Side Stick Controller X/Y is limited to axes on primary controller which is selected by drop down menu in setup>controls area. If you set any other device as primary then you cannot set joystick x/y to the airplane x/y.
Usually TARGET service error can be fixed by restarting the service. But also it might help to try various combinations of administrator rights between the service and the programs that connect with it. Windows likes to protect programs from communicating with each other as part of the security architecture. Both being admin (or at least the same user) usually allows this communication. Run services.msc (or through Task Manager) and look if TARGET service is manual, disabled, auto, etc. and try restarting it before trying the device analyzer.
