I know it always easy to ask for than it is to actually program the changes asked for, but as a single player I would like the various missions results to be fixed to reflect the outcome (ie. your an SEAD and no one in pckg dies due to enemy air defense, but you fail).
And on topic of changes, this version is the absolutely best I have ever seen for wingmen responses and actions while in flight. Great job!

Yeah, would be nice to fix all that stuff!
But I am afraid it will require a (almost) total rewrite because the principle of evaluating pilots on something they can do anything about it not fair IMO. (One can not always make the TGT one time for various reasons such as evasive actions, and retrograde plan … etc … but passing the Push on time is something different.
… and since we can’t act as mission commander, I think it is not fair to punish a human Escort leader when the strikers has been shot down because they are not smart enough to abort … etc …)
Maybe someday. I’ll keep in mind (on my list for long time).

It’d be really nice to get something along the lines of F4Wx integrated into the game and made completely hands-off for the end user. When starting a campaign, imagine just checking “real world weather” and then forgetting about it. Or having a dynamic weather system run by the campaign… this way, it could generate weather out in advance and give you forecasts (with a little randomness thrown in so the forecasts aren’t perfect) alongside the current weather. Either way, the point is to have as few external programs (ideally none) to run alongside the base game.

that will never happen and this is far better to have external module pluged in
at the moment, you cna Download several days of forecast and place it automatically in the correct folder
Then this is totally transparent for the user, just start the campaign and you have the real weather in real time.
It is better to keep it external as we can update the F4WX module much faster and on a more regular basis than the whole game.

Hold on…
I agree with you that an integrated “Real world weather” in BMS would generate more problems than solutions but, in theory an integrated script the read real world weather form an external software that read real time data and update fmaps let’s say from 15 to 15 minute time interval it’s not a impossible task.
I’m most happy with the solution we have now, but forecast are just that forecasts and real world weather would give even more accurate data to the minute.

On the 3-4 weeks list?:p
Maybe Santa Dee-Jay & Co will come with a delivery from Santa’s workshop in 3 - 4 weeks.:D Santa is there for sure!

I would like to see a quick jfs bottle recharge option, mostly for multiplayer so it doesn’t ruin someone’s flight.

It’s already implemented
it’s not quick though it takes what it takes.

1. Missile intercept. We have to add some challenge against stand-off weapons. CIWS, some SAMs and probably in the far future ECM, should intercept incoming missiles.
2. Random bombs / missile failure. Something like MTBF in missiles and bombs in order to simulate problematic battery, fuzes which didn’t arm etc. It happens in the real world. As it stands now, there is no challenge when you launch say an AGM-154C against a target. It will never be intercepted and it will never fail.

I believe this can be done easily from community?
I dont know if the app can be run in cmd with parameters, but if yes it could be like a batch running in the background updating the files to be activated, so instead of forecast you will have the latest weather data. Just a batch with run every x minutes, rename and copy paste commands? Am i wrong here?
It wouldn’t be that hard even for the weather app coder to perform such from the app its self.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T818A using Tapatalk

would it be possible to upgrade the acmi viewer somehow into a full scale replay tool using the same graphics, camera controls and effects as in game ? this must be a very annoying tool to work with, however it’s a tool which allows to create videos which are very youtubable and would do wonders for bms visibility (i know it’s not the aim, but still).
As always, those are simply ideas, not demands or something. Thanks team!

More capable AI dogfighters to make it a bit more challenging dogfighting the AI again. And a fix for the AI that they don’t spiral straight into the ground anymore. As an example, a while ago I did 6 setups against an agressor F-18 and of the 6 fights he crashed in 5 of them. Often I see the AI start a spiral straight down once they start to get defensive and they don’t recover from that anymore.

The only real missile intercept are for ballistic missiles
It is very unclear if there are sams able to engage harm but this is unlikely actually
But don’t worry you will have some challenge vs sams
