Cpu heats up in main menu

And the problem is?
the problem is that falcon 4.0 bms 4.32 looks crappy and more like falcon 4.0 allied force on those settings!
and why can i run games much more heavyer for cpu and gpu at high to max setting and falcon 4.0 BMS all most on low graphics.
and still stay below 40 degrees celsius and falcon on high running towards 60 degrees celsius a some peaks.then i go to menu screens they are too heavy with no 3d animation… look for instance at the main menu of tomber raider 2013… thats more heavyer on pc but no heat issue’s
look at the plain old 1 picture menu of falcon and it makes not only my pc running hot bot i read in more forums and clan sites about this issue!so whats why i ask what did you guys do with the menu’s in compaire with the stock falcon 4.0 or even the lame free falcon version or open falcon…
i tryed them all but BMS is the only one thats giving cpu’s in plain old menu some heat issue’s stress load.i want to can run my game at main menu for a whole day with out issue’s
BUT GPU stays below 40 degrees celsius at all times…

Seriously now u compare Tomb Raider with Falcon?
When u open a mission Te or worst a campaign the war is going on while your Falcon clock is ticking… xxx thousands of code r calculated by the campaign engine… u expect the cpu to be cool?
And what Tomb raider does while in UI? counts the bodies in the Tomb? Also there r servers running 24/7 without any issues… if your pc has issues than check your pc so it is smooth for Falcon.

Simply, the CPU is being used throughout the UI process. Once in 3d (Flight) everything’s from the video card.
Phenoms’ were never really good at doing lots of math.

How can you say game ### is heavier on your rig, but with less heat/CPU usage in the menu? If falcon uses the CPU more and runs hotter its apparantly heavier! And it should be: there’s a war going on. The UI isn’t optimized, true, but it’s not that bad.
On a sidenote:
the lame free falcon version
. I know we’re all entitled to our opinions these days, but does a remark like this about the hard work of a lot of people help you with your problem?

Still, what is the problem here? When converting videos, I’ve got about 80°C on my CPU, but it will just slow down a little and let the fan catch up. Might invest in a bigger fan here, but I never had any heat issues besides the slower CPU when it reaches its heat limit. And I’m using the boxed fan which isn’t the best either.
Does the UI crash? Do you have any stability issues? Does your PC overheat and switch off?
You can’t just judge a “heavier” game by what you see in the UI. Tomb Raider won’t calculate a dynamic campaign in the background. So what’s the basic problem with the increased temperature?
There’s a basic rule that’s just physics after all: Calculations need power to switch the “transistor’s state” (basically). Power will need some small amount of current (P= UI) which will induce heat due to the resistance on the conductor (P=I²R). More calculations -> more power needed -> more heat induced. Until you get more efficient transistors on your CPU, that’s it. No software thing will change that.
If it is getting warmer, it will have more calculations on the CPU. No matter how fancy that stuff looks like, tomb raider will do less calculations than BMS (although the b**bs do look better sometimes). Otherwise, there would be more heat.
I could run tomb raider on my old rig just fine, but had to upgrade it for BMS. That’s how it is and it won’t change. BMS is very demanding. And it will always do more calculations on the CPU than tomb raider. But you will have the same problems with video converting or other CPU intensive applications. Once the CPU reaches its limit, it won’t get any faster. You either need to slow down or get the heat away.
Please, what is the basic problem here- are you unable to run BMS? Then please post your systems specs.
Mine are as followed:
AMD X4 760K CPU
8Gb DDR3 RAM (Patriot 1600)
Samsung 840 evo SSD (plus a bunch of HDD’s which won’t matter, bought an SSD for falcon)
AMD Radeon HD6570 with 1Gb (pretty old, slightly overclocked, but shaders suck- will have to upgrade it with 4.33)
OS is Win7 64bitIt does run fine, shaders are on, but all sub-options are unchecked so I just get the weather/ light effects, but no fancy stuff. Which is due to the GPU which is pretty old. And yes, I can even record videos on-the-fly in a campaign.
Things like “oh, that looks better and doesn’t have so much calculations but BMS looks sh*tty in the UI but heats up things so much” won’t get you any help. Give us at least some facts to start with.
