Custom paint job for my f16?
-
maybe this is covered somewhere else but i can’t find it. is there a fairly easy way (easier than using 3ds max which i hate) to make custom paint job for a plane?
i see all the texture files here
C:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObji guess i need to edit the .dds files using something like paint.net?
or is there a better way?
photoshop?

i finally found the .dds file that used on the default f16 then you create a TE, for ‘ROKAF 93065’, its 3437.dds (i also found a kangaroo humping a dog, not something you expect to see in Korea)
when i edit it (the plane, not the kangaroo/dog thing) , how do i know what save options to use on dds? i assume same as the original .dds file but i’m not sure how to find that.
is there a guide to this somewhere?
also, i don’t necessarily want to change the default plane skin, how to i add and select a new one?
thx
