A3 SCAN VOLUME does not move with RDR CURSOR?
-
Why does my RDR CURSOR float within the A3 SCAN VOLUME instead of staying centered and moves the VOLUME aside before it touches the edge of MFD like in 4.33?

I noticed this change between .33 and .34. It’s not centered but instead drags only when close to the edge. User preference, I prefer the old way but simulation is simulation and I’m guessing that any change was deliberate and researched.
There’s also the scan range in the vertical dimension. I think realistically the bugged TWS scan should be centered on the bugged track biased by the antenna elevation knob (e.g. centered knob, scan centered on bug regardless of target position) which I don’t think BMS does.

Upgraded FCR : "In all A-A search modes except TWS, search volume control allows the ACQ cursor to be placed anywhere within the FCR scan volume. However, when the center of the ACQ cursor is within 4 degrees of the edge of the search volume, the search volume center will move with ACQ cursor motion.
TWS needs a tweak.
Lets see if future BMS updates will allow the user to choose from the AV config different FCR versions.

.I find having the volume of scanned airspace to be static and displaced only when it needs to, for it to be more useful.
