    Amount of spawn / parking spots per airbase?

      Hey guys,

      To get the airbases in my TE’s to look a bit busier, I’m thinking of changing the Reag and Deag timer values to something like 4-6 hours and adding aircraft with a departure time later than the expected landing time of the TE mission, so they would appear to be static before/after their flight.
      The timers are no problem but I’ve noticed that the spawned aircraft will start lining up in a single file if there are no more spawn spots available. (Not sure what happens when no parking spots for arrivals are available, though)
      As such, I’m looking for the amount and type of parking spots per airbase.

      I know I could just add aircraft and check 3D after each one, but before I do that with each and every airbase, I assume there must be files containing this info, which may be accessible if you know where to look and have the right tools. That would be a far easier way for me to find out how many spawn / parking spots there are on an airbase and if possible, where they are located and what heading they put your nose at. Then, once that’s figured out, I’d also like to know if this amount/direction can be edited without requiring a complete airbase overhaul? (e.g. to place aircraft in hangars)

          u cant u mast edit the airbase objective via falcon editor. i mean ramp doesnt start inside hangars

            So it wouldn’t be possible to just designate coordinates + heading as parking spots? I have absolutely no knowledge on this subject, but considering they wouldn’t really be used for moving aircraft (except human), there shouldn’t be any link to taxiways or the rest of the airbase structure. Don’t suppose that’s possible either?

            Anyway, if it isn’t, no problem. Then I would just need to find the current amount, which I gather can be found through the Falcon Editor? 🙂

              open falcon editor open an airbase go to pt tab and look around. u will find the white lines for taxi and parking points.

              if u move them u loose MP. if u want to move them instead of one by one u can select them with control or shift click and then move them all together.

              if u then want to ramp from inside shelter u must change the take off sequence by altering the take points of the airbase.

              this is in general. I believe demer and I covered the subject in detail in another thread.
