Issues Extracting U1-U6, U7 Updates from Zip file

Recently upgraded to Win7, so I’m having to re-install FBMS. I’m having issues extracting the updates from zip file. I downloaded U1-U6 and U7 from forum, downloaded qBittorrent. Here’s were things go ‘hay wire’. When I try to extract files using 7zip I get an error message: “Cannot Open file” then it gives the file address. What am I doing wrong?

It’s probably not completely download. Torrents will create a full-size file instantly and slowly fill the “empty box” so it’s not possible to know a torrent is complete just by looking at its file size.

I have seen possible issues with archives created with different programs (windows, 7zip, WinRar) where some don’t follow the file format super exactly and others are very picky on the file format. If you’re sure the file is complete, try different unzip tools.

There are also checks on the files that can be done like MD5 checksum.

check qbittorrent download progress and make sure both files are 100%. if you are still having problems then try winrar. there’s probably a “verify file integrity” check somewhere in qbittorrent, you could try using that too.
