Buzzz's new Mirage 2000
-
IMHO, it’s simpler and more realistic to link it to the RPM DOF : DOF 48
I have to find a way.i know the way, but need exe edit of course…
is the FLAPS used for landing though ?
-
From what I’ve read, on the Mirage, no.
-
On a pure Delta wing such as M2K, it is not possible to use elevons as flaps…, so elevon/flaps are neutral as soon as hydrolic system has reach its nominal pressure. And, for M2k, when gear is down, slats are UP, whatever the AoA is (hardcoded in FLCS)

I think I have a solution for at least one part of the problem.

I have been flying your Mirage a lot lately and i really love it! Great FM, great cockpit and model! But, theres an issue with the autopilot. Sometimes when disengaged, I cant turn it on again (the switches light up but it doesnt take control of the a/c). Bug or feature?
-
The autopilot in the Mirage works as in the F-16. You have to respect certain flight parameters for the autopilot to work correctly.
In addition, even if the heading autopilot is selected, if the ATT/ALT autopilot is off, there is no autopilot. -

Seems to be related to flying 35k+ feet. Sorry about thinking it was a bug, I guess I mostly only fly that high when flying the Mirage…
-
… but how was this issue solved in the Mirage 2000D/N?
-
I will solve it the same way as for the mono-seat. I’m just waiting for a feedback from MavJP.

Dang you fly high. Not certain on the AP requirements, but at that altitude your AoA might not be shallow enough? And of course, if you increase speed to adjust for that you probably get too close to Mach 1 to use AP. Just a thought

May I ask if the new Mirage 2000 is relished? Or you are talking about the existing Mirage model in BMS?
Thank you
-
Both new single-seater and BMS current dual-seater models are affected.
-
Looks like when you choose ramp in the Mirage you are unable to start the Jammer. Having used both the shortcut from the keyboard and the one from dunc’s profile (pinky + cms left) i’m unable to activate it. Power is on and act pwr is on but the light for the jammer is still off. Any ideas?

Same problem here…
-
I need to investigate.
