Did a search for this answer, no joy. Is it being technically advised that Falcon BMS 4.32 is not able to recognize 4 Cougar MFDs ? I was thinking of adding two more for the extra switches. Is anyone running 4 ? Thanks !!

Im not, but I think you should be able to.

Can I ask what extra switches you needed to have?

with a little work you might find it easier to create some homemade switch panels instead, and for probably the same price or cheaper than buying the cougar MFDs.

Maybe I’m wrong, but don’t some of the other jets in Falcon with pits have 4 MFDs? I don’t fly anything but the F-16, so maybe I’m just crazy.

You can use up tp 16 DirectX input devices in BMS. So while the F16 itself does only have 2 real MFDs, you can nevertheless use more Cougar MFDs, as there is no need to map the MFD buttons to the BMS MFDs. Of course you can use the additional Cougar MFD buttons and map them to e.g. some other cockpit switches. 😉

thanks for all the answers… I am only in the thinking "it would be nice to have for Christmas " stage… Blu3Wolf mentioned PoKeys in another reply… the MFDs certainly seem easier to use then the CH MFP I have… and I am exploring the use of my G13 and seeing if commands will DX to that. The commands I would export to the extra MFDs would be view commands, Comm commands, so my X52 could be used strictly for engaging, defeating and avoiding threats so to speak. Again, thanks…

If you’re referring to comm commands as in ‘talk to the AWACs’ you should consider some sort of voice recognition instead, it greatly enhances realism when you can actually speak to the AWACs and get a reply.
