Add 2 or more skins to a single airplane 4.34

Hi guys.
Since 4.34 i have been struggle to add one or more set of skins to the same LOD.
Back in 4.33 it was fairly simple with LOD editor to edit how many set and skins an aircraft could have.
Now i have playing with F4textureSetEditor but the results some times are odd. And the program crashes multiple times.
Any trick in 3ds max or anywhere to make it simple?

IIRC the number of skinsets are saved within the .LOD itself,
so extract your DB, load your model into LE and proceed as you did with 4.33,
then save the model in LE and exit.When done, adjust "TextureSets = " in the Parent.dat file, then rebuild your DB.
If you have added new texture numbers and increased the range of original highest texture number,
then see F4 3D Database Builder.pdf /Page 3 before rebuilding the DB.
In the Textures folder, you must have a 256 colours BMP file named as the highest texture number found in <installdir>\Data\TerrData\Objects\KoreaObj. Resolution nor colour does matter, so one pixel will do just fine. This will write in HDR the last texture id.</installdir>

Problem is in order to open the model in LE i have to call the HDR file in a 4.33 data base.
When i set number of tex from 1 to 2 it split the textures and i cannot chose. Im sure im doing something wrong.

LSThanks Lazy but no can do this method.
Madel is over 136k poly count and when i try to go to the edit window it gives an error and LE closes after.
It always gives e this error in LE in this model although the model itself is good in BMS.

LE is your only way to add more texturesets.

Anyone knows where to find it or any other friendly way to add or remove textures from a LOD Without using LE for models above 100K polys?

the only way to split the textures with lodeditor it’s in a file text.
edit model > root > right mouse on root
popup to edit the file text, modify as you prefer, then save it.same procedure as above to import your new file text.

Our good fellow WaveyDave has created a Texture Set Editor, which is available nearby his Exporter Downloads.
Not sure if it works for your highpoly model, though.
