I’ve tried and cant seem to run MFDE from another PC so the PC i’m playing BMS on doesn’t have a FPS hit. I have the ports setup in the router but can’t connect to the MFDE server .

If the two computers are on the same network under the same router, you shouldn’t need to setup the ports for you router. To get MFDE to run server/client mode, the computer that is running BMS needs to have MFDE setup as the server (under options, the networking tab, select server). On the computer you wish to extract your instruments to, you setup MFDE as the client (same as the server except you select client and enter the IP address of the server (computer playing BMS). One thing you may want to do is the dedicate an IP address to your BMS computer, that way when you reboot the machine, your router doesn’t give it a different IP address and cause MFDE to be unable to find the server. The port numbers that MFDE uses, I left as whatever MFDE had already filled in.
You may want to verify that BMS is actually extracting the information that MFDE needs in order to function as well. Check the falcon bms.cfg file located under :\Falcon BMS 4.32\User\Config\ and ensure that this line “set g_bExportRTTTextures 1” under “Misc Settings” is a “1” not a “0”.
Hope this helps.
