      Hello Team!
I am getting the original Falcon exe. from steam, Now do I need to download the 4.34 U1 incremental installer, 4.34 full installer, and 4.33 U1-U5 for proper installation?

      V/r

Once you get it installed I recommend the following mods:
Hi res runways and taxiways: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?19737-Runways-Taxiways-High-Resolution-Textures
Alternative launcher for key bindings: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?31774-Falcon-BMS-Alternative-Launcher-(Easy-Setup-Keep-Joystick-Assignments)

I also recommend the JanHas models but they aren’t working with the 4.34U1 update yet. Check the janhas and the already extracted threads below in a week or so.

You do not need anything 4.33. It is just 4.34 with 4.34 incremental U1

Update 1 is the only update for 4.34. Don’t download any other updates as they will not be for 4.34.

If you are new to BMS you can read the installation chapter in the BMS Manual, which will take you through the process screen by screen. It can be downloaded here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?35494-4-34-BMS-Documention-release&p=493552&viewfull=1#post493552

You should also familiarise yourself with the structure of the Documentation suite to understand what is where (and save yourself a lot of time and frustration trying to find stuff). This can be found here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?35494-4-34-BMS-Documention-release

All documents will be in your Docs folder when you have installed 4.34, so there is no need to download any other manual.

Well, I’m the latest noob up here, and I’ll be trying to install the latest 4.35(?) version. I’ll be installing the latest Falcon 4.0 from Steam (it’s a deal @ $6.99) and then downloading the BMS app. Is that all I have to do?

Okay, next question! Got everything installed, but having problems getting my Logitech X-56 HOTAS to work. The only profile I can find is for the Saitek X-55, and it doesn’t work for my X-56. I seem to have gotten the stick to work, but nothing on the throttle section will program. HELP!

I downloaded and installed Alternative Launcher, and it’s almost as useless as the unmodded method. A few things:

                                    1. My Logitech X56 throttle cannot be seen by Falcon,
                                    2. My stick works only with pitch and roll,
                                    3. My Logitech rudder pedals work fine, as do the toe brakes, but…
                                    4. The toe brakes are the only way I can program the throttles, so it’s either toe brakes, or use my feet for the throttles,
                                    5. The ground steering/taxiing has to be done with the stick in NWS mode, not the rudder pedals.

Please! Can anyone point me to someone who has successfully attached an X56 HOTAS to this sim and made it work (by work, I mean the functions work as they should). If so, I’d like to buy you a beer and tap your brain to find out the secret. As it is now, this sim is unusable!

                                        1. On the setup Controller screen you only set up your primary input device which in your case would be the X56 stick.
                                        2. If you go to setup -> controllers -> advanced does your X56 throttle appear in the dropdown lost of any of the axes?
