Hello guys, i know you implemented a fix for that old F-16A-15 CMDS bug into ITO.

How can i fix this one for other theaters? I´d like to use that in Molni´s Korea 80´s theater.
The forum search function didn’t yield any results.

I gave a hint in molnis Korea80s thread …. It ´s (as far as i remember) just one edit in the f16b15(or afm).dat file.

        ChaffDispensers 2
        FlareDispeners 2

…i might be wrong though…been long time we had this on the table…

WHat is CMDS? I never played with HOTAS. The qty. of dispensers asI know should not has any effect on controls. You can set simultaneous or “jumping release” by another lines in dat file but always words the same way. One press active once the set program the process is defined by system settings and visual is by dat file.

Thanks AS, I’ll look at it later.

@ Molni Counter Measure Dispenser System as in Dash 1 page 30, i think in BMS keyfiles its called EWS? In the ITO they called it CMDS bug.
The problem is that my F-16A Block 15 won’t dispense any flares or chaff, no matter what i do. When i push program 5 or 6 Betty calls “Chaff Flare”, but nothing happens.

I understand it is an old bug and that there is a fix.

            Thanks.

see if it has “hasEWS 1” in the chaff/flare section in the .dat file

Thanks a lot Fenrir, that works!

For future reference/readers, it was the f16bk15.dat , with k after the b, NOT the f16b15.dat
