CH Pro Pedals with RUSBA - need a little help
-
I am using the gold gameport CH Pro Pedals with a Realsimulator RUSBA adapter to connect them directly to my PC, so that I can free-up the required axis on my TM Cougar to enable the toe brakes on the CH Pro Pedals to work.
The RUSBA software sees the pedals and I can calibrate them just fine, but they do not register the toe wheel brakes at all. The RUSBA adapter does show up in Windows as a game device with 3 axis (Z Axis for the main rudder movement, and X and Y axis for each toe brake). But they register no input.
Is there anything in particular I need to do to make the toe brakes work or register?

Do you have RUSBA RandB firmware enabled?

Yes I have now but it doesn’t make a difference.
The RUSBA calibration tool sees the pedal axis (Z) move but both toe brake axis (X,Y) remain at 2048 and don’t register anything. Could the wiring for both be broken? I read that’s a common problem.

If you have a DVM or similar to check resistance, check between pins 11 to 13 and 11 to 14 for resistances on the rudder connector. Assuming these are okay and within range (usually 100k) then I’m stuck! Sorry!

I assume you mean this schema?
I’ll have a look today and see if I can find any resistance on pin 13 and 14.
