Saitek X45 Dx troubles
-
Hi all
I try to use my X45 only in Dx, having followed all the procedure in the BMS docs/ Hotas setup/X45.
All is perfect exept for the Mode1-2-3 slider named M1-M2-M3.
For this slider i use the “BMS X-45_DX.pr0” profile, but when i load it i have a BsoD whith:- Driver IRQL NOT LESS Or EQUAL
- SaiH053c.sys
i use Saitek_X45_Flight_Controller_SD6_64 driver and SST_Software_64_6_6_6_9 under Win 10 64x
I already have uninstall and reinstall all (drivers + BMS) but always the same problem.
Anybody can help me?
Thanks

Run “DEVICE MANAGER”, goto “Audio and Game Controller” branch and remove X-45 device and driver, if you can.
After that, run REGEDIT and remove all X45 Registry in “Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM”.Unplug your Saitek and reboot your computer.
Try your Saitek in Falcon BMS without reinstalling anything. Go to SETUP, CONTROLLER in Falcon BMS.
Program your Saitek with DirectX only for Falcon BMS. -
Ty Syder, and sorry for the delay,
I’ll try it, and go back asap . -
i do but no change about the slider Modes.
i have deleted all drivers with CMD: SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1 then devmgmt.msc and delete all old drivers in the device Manager.
No change for the slider, it didn’t able to have a DX entry. -
@wacco Although a quite old thread, I have the same problem and cannot find any solution on the net. Did you find anything to work this out? I dont necessarily need the Mode buttons, but its annoying that the SST software (used in some other workarounds as the radar cursor axis) is not usable with the BSOD.
@all Any help appreicated.

Hi
The problem was solved by uninstalling the SST program and driver, then letting Windows 10 reinstall a generic driver.
Since then, all buttons are DX-recognized.
