Trouble installing Falcon BMS 4.32

I am not very computer savvy, but I know enough to get in trouble. I had installed base plus U1-U6, but could not get the comms to tower working. I decided to uninstall and do a clean install from the get-go. I have tried this three times now, and each time, when I click on setup, I get a message telling me that the registry points to a folder without a valid installation. it says further that I should remove a registry entry at HKLM\Software\Benchmark Sims\Falcon_BMS_4.32. I have run regedit, and cannot find anything relating to Benchmark Sims anywhere in my registry.

If anyone can help me fix this, I will be very grateful

The latest is U7. Recommend installing Base (U1 thru U7). There is an all in one located in this forum.

Try HKEY LOCAL/SOFTWARE/WOW6432 NODE/BENCHMARKSIMS. When I reinstall, I usually delete the BENCHMARK SIMS entry.

Thanks, but just FYI, when I tried that link, it would not extract. It gave me a CRC error, (Whatever that is)

Well it must be from your system. Happened 2 me 2. Erase the rar and download again. The rar and link works fine, I used it many many times with zero problems.

Thanks, but by using Badger’s link above, I was able to get Base plus U1-U6 installed. Now working on installing U7.
