I see in the FAQ section that the FLIR has been removed because the latest batch of F16’s doesnt have it.

So I can therefore take it that this is the latest Korean War being fought in the country in 2014. Hmm nope, same trucks and stuff from previous Sim versions, so I guess its new planes in an old theatre. In that case then can we have the 6 Mk84 Bomb Racks for the inner pylons, the Latest model of the F16 Plus. The FLIR option removed from the MFD displays (that ones not hard I can show you how to do it dead easy) or is this “Realism” Im hearing so much about the fact that you broke stuff and arent quite sure how to fix it.

I would like to have a copy of the current source code as well as your current strategem of functionality withn the pit other than Track IR and Cougar joysticks. Dunno if you are aware of this or not but 80% of pilots today are using Saitek sticks, 5% other brands, 8.5% Thrustmaster sticks and the low 7% may be using cougars. Definate design flaw in the game there guys. Id suggest a rethink of exactly whose flying it these days.

Duncan’s known me a while in the past and knows exactly what im on about. The importance of any program is that its functionality is paramount over and above the addition of “Extras”. Whats the point of having a half working program then trying to make the new technology work on it. Get the programs bugs and flaws removed first, fix the database that got broken years back by an individual and get the mission applications fixed so that tanks stop behaving like submarines and crossing underwater from the NE coast to the korean peninsula as a short cut or did they have submersible tanks back then, thats good realism.

The detail switching is a damn good idea and whoever thought of it deserves a pat on the back. May be an idea to add popup help windows to things so people know what they do.

Anyhow the offers on the table to make use of my services which will be to look at the code, find the bugs and reports them back to you for alteration if needed. Each branch and file in the code will be tested to breaking point if there is one and error checking. Flight model data obviously will be left in your hands, all I want is a sim for “Everyone” to be able to fly, not padlocking that only works if you have Track IR, kind of makes it a bit unfair on those who dont have a thousand dollars for periferals to a free game. I dont require payment or indeed any form of recognition what so ever. Ive flown Falcon since it came out as Fighting Falcon but the current series starting with 3 has to be a project I dont want to see die.

Anyhow the offers there take it or leave it.

Where’d you get these statistics? I didn’t realise that FBMS was reporting which flight controller was being used, or have you just plucked these numbers from the either?

Just curious if this is a genuine post or merely the precursor to another flaming thread

On the off chance that you are serious, Gyro, the BMS team is more than competent enough to wipe out the bugs - except those between the ejection seat and the ICP, as always - and will not give away the source code.

Why, you might ask ? Because the team has its reasons, period.
