Export BMS Falcon to use as import Mod in MSFS2020
-
Is there or could there be a way to use the BMS Falcon as an aircraft mod for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or within world mapping solutions like Bing Maps, Google Maps, or Google Earth?
-
Sure you can try!
For MFSF, make a copy/past of your entire “Falcon BMS 4.34” into your C:\Users\…\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community
If you like to try on Googe Earth Pro, copy into C:\Program Files\Google\Google Earth Pro\client\plugins
Tell us if it works fine …

Nonsense , I just keep a copy in my google drive and link the accounts, this way it’s in the cloud and works with everything.

there’s no way to just copy or export the entire code and make it run in mfsf 2020, differents languages

Have you even tried before saying it doesn’t work?!?

Bah, that’s an old trick we did already back in the day when
we did a copy/paste of OpenFalcon into the M$- FSX folder. The only side effect was that even an old Cessna had F-16 avionics and flight performance.
Dropping GBU’s from an 737 was also fun.
Cheers, :yo:

LOL these threads this week have been magical.

…copy into C:\Program Files\Google\Google Earth Pro\client\plugins
Careful now, this is strictly for the x64 installer.
The default x86 path should be C:\Program Files (x86)\ etc etc
I am sure it will not give any CTD’s, but doing this the wrong way might output just nothing within sim.

Wait, are you saying that I could have been flying Falcon in MS2020 all these years and nobody every told us?
Craptastic!

No. We are saying that nobody tried it.
This is what I like with my351fastback’s way of thinking. Why happiness and joy should always be something impossible or difficult? To sped a good day, sometime a simply smile to your girlfriend is enough. … It does not always work … but most of the time it is simply a matter of try.
-
You can do that with any flight sim. That’s partly why comparing them is pointless, they’re basically the same thing.

poor guys they where copying pasting all those years…
I was just doing a symbolic link junction in the FS directory pointing to Falcon directory and I was ready to go…I thought you guys knew… facepalm
