Essential controls and key setup tutorial
-
A ton of people have been PMing me for this, so I rushed it together in a few minutes, much like my first 4.32 tutorials
Includes a text guide in the video description.

Thank you for helping out a lot of people. It seems like the main issue for new armchair pilots is getting a proper set up done. I also want to thank you for your 4.32 tutos - Even though everyone still have to read the 4.33 manual I got a good SA/picture of what the Falcon BMS weapon systems is all about. (I have only been playing the DCS A-10C and its āsmallā selection of weaponry)
I feel as I am the only one on the whole facking Internet that had absolutely zero problems setting up my controls. Heck I can even use my rotaries on my hotas with out using saitek sst⦠Amazing if you ask me. I got blessed by the Viper angels
So when you are not busy using the new Lantirn/Flir are you thinking about creating a quick/cheat reference guide for newcomers for more of the back-end stuff. like - Multiplayer, use of radio in mp, and so on. Also I ask because that is my next step - Finding someone to show me the ropes in mp
I never knew about Falcon BMS before I saw the news on ED forums.
Very short version: Is there even any point to join a mp-server as lonewolf ? ā Sure I enjoy the awesome campaign. But human tactics and often their errors is how you get the best game experience I believe.

Definitely have to agree. Had no idea bout modifiers in DCS but they are a godsend.

I will try to make tutorials, but I am much busier nowadays. It took dozens of hours to make the old tutorials, and itās not a simple measure to re-create them. Back then I wasnāt working, now iām a Producer in military simulations with a ton of work, a girlfriend and other time complications.
You basically canāt join multiplayer lonewolf except for Falcon Online. What i recommend is that you begin coming to open invite multiplayer sessions like the way my squadron hosts. We donāt have a 24/7 server like Falcon Online but we do have sporadic pickup games throughout the day which anyone can join. These will be considered to be less tense and more open to you terribly messing everything up during the learning phase. Anyone can also join our scheduled weekly saturday games, but we do ask that you have a certain baseline of skill - which you donāt yet.

Otherwise consider Falcon Online. Of course the best way to ālearn the simā and get connected with the community is to join a āvirtual fighter squadronā with closed/application membership - but that often requires a substantial time investment. You will probably be required to attend X number of trainings or events a week. I can recommend the 72nd http://www.72ndvfw.org/
