Low altitude stutter with Nvida Graphic 970
-
I have a fairly fast computer
I7 4790 3.6 Ghz
16 meg ram
GTX 970
Win 8.1 64 bitbut am getting some stutter upon low level flying.
I read in another thread that any Nvidia driver that is past 306.97 is causing this.
Don’t know if that’s true, but is it possible to download a lower level driver.
When I go to the Nvidia site, I would have to put in as if my card was a much lower version.
The drivers that pop up are for lower cards like gtx 285. Can I just plug these drivers in.What else can I look to, to try and get rid of the low level stuttering.
My old computer had a gtx 700 series card, and was much lower than an I7 machine and was running win 7.
With that one, I didn’t get the stutters, and have the same options checked. -
With your card you can’t use 306.97. Either turn off focus shadows in BMS configuration or get a second card and use sli AFR2 settings. Both those options will end the stutters.
