Lulu…4.35\. Red Dog.

As an avid reader of Red Dog’s manuals in hard copy, will the 4.35 updates become available from Lulu?
Thanks for your hard work Red Dog.

Probably during the coming holidays. But I wanted to redo the covers so it might take a bit of time.
Maybe I should use a contest for the front and back picture -
First off all, thank you for the manual. I have only one advice or ask , Is there any chance to modify the format such a way that there should not need to print out the whole manual after every patch? If something change, there should remove ,add or replace just that pages. Like a real one when come out a bulletin.

Came by to 2nd this, I love buying the printed manuals for reading.

repvez, one nice thing they did was add a bar to all content that is new in 4.35. It really helps.
Since I bought the 4.34 manuals back in the spring of 2019, I think I will wait until 4.36 before I get the next set from Lulu. What I would like to do for now is read them on my samsung tablet, but how to I get them on there? It does not have a slot for a usb, and there is no way to email that much data to myself. And I dont think I can install Falcon 4.35 onto my tablet just so that I have the manuals available, because the original Falcon is not on my tablet.
So how do I get the 4.35 manuals that are on my computer to my tablet?

Do you have Dropbox or google drive? I personally save docs in google drive and access docs on mobile devices that way.

It would be a thousand time easier for me to write the manuals too. Unfortunately when you look at these black update bars you see they are all over the place often for small changes.
The nature of updating BMS update changes very minor details all over the spectrum and inserting pages is really not practical unless for new implementation that are long enough to take one page.
The end result document would be IMHO much less clear and much less organized and more difficult to read.
So I’m afraid NO, it is not going to happen.Tablet reading through Icloud is also what I do although sometimes I like the smell and the feeling of a nice printed manual like the good old days. But i don’t print them at all at every new version.
That is also the reason why I do not update the manuals at every smaller patch.
4.3x gets a manual release, but 4.3x.y doesn’t. Only 4.3(x+1) will trigger a new manual.
It’s already hard enough like that and it keeps the latest release manual valid longer for those who print. -
I never used those things, but I may try it so I can read the updated manual on my tablet.

Happy New Year Scotters,
You can use Resilio Sync to automatically sync files, and directories on windows devices.
However
If you sync windows device and an android device, be aware that android changes the creation/update date to the synced date and thus re syncs with windows. With some files this can mess up your latest windows copies.
Therefore when enabling syncing between a windows device and an android device be sure to choose READ ONLY. Windows to windows is OK .
Best regardsDavid

Also if the PC has BlueTooth then it is possible to transfer docs over a BT link

Albeit I am ecstatic for any new manuals that come out, I must say I was only just getting to a point where I could purchase the whole collection for .34 on Lulu.
Good work Red Dog! Keep 'em coming!
