4.35 ILS localizer Heading
-
Good morning.
Is there any chart which summarizes all the ILS localizer with the the current and real heading of the airport runways?
I can only find them individually in the chart of each airport.
It would be very helpful to find them in a chart as AD 3.1 INDEX OF AIRPORTS of BMS KTO AIP or something like that, to introduce them on CRS setting of ILS page.Thank you in advance.

don’t pages 7 and 8 of the KAIP give you exactly what you request?
-
Not in fact. It is the same information as page 51 (which is more detailed)
For example, Choongwon AB has the ILS runway 18L, but its current heading is 176º.
Perhaps, the only way to have this headings is to check them one by one on their individual chart. -
I see
You don’t “really” need that information actually - at least not in BMS.
The ILS and ADI localizer will be correctly placed as soon as you tune the ILS frequency because a localizer is quite different than a Tacan.
I agree it’s better to “align” the CRS on the HSI - although, for the same reason it does not need to be precise to the degree . Setting 130° for a 13R runway which is 132° works quite fineThe information WOULD be needed if the CRS setting of the DED (T-ILS page) would be implemented in BMS as that one sets CMD steering signal and would work only if the correct ILS track would be entered
Unfortunately that is not implemented in BMS and currently command steering always guide you to the ILS regardless of the DED CRS setting entered, which is inaccurate
(it seems also that on EHSI equipped aircrfat (as BMS now is) DED and EHSI CRS status as shared and should always be the same - to be verified) -
Thank you for the explanation.
After reading the manuals perhaps didn’t notice this clarification. Now, after a second reading, it is clearly stated on it.
Congratulations for your great work.
Best wishes from Spain.
