4.35.1 MFDs still corrupted in YAME64…
-
I’ll switch back to RTT (or set Helios up if it works)… What say you YAME guys?
-
same here
-
I’ve been using RTT for the MFDs, but still YAME for all the rest because I like the photorealistic gauges a lot more then the alternatives.
-
YAME is on the list to get some more love but that’s still future aspiration for the moment I’m afraid…I’m not sure why anyone would think U1 would be any different in this regard than 4.35.0. To get improvement in the situation it’s YAME that needs updating not the game code/data and U1 only addresses the latter.

I had the (obviously wrong) impression the reason behind the scrambled YAME MFDs was a change in BMS for 4.35 and U1 was going to address it. As long as the MFD crashes have been addressed I have no problem using RTT or Helios until YAME has been updated…

YAME has a problem with DX11 on nvidia cards I think. I too had hoped (against all odds :)) it would start to work automagically with U1 but sadly that’s not the case as the bug is within YAME itself, not any portion of the BMS code.
All the best,
Uwe

Switched from YAME64(gauges)/RTT (MFDs)combo to Helios 1.6 for everything, all is good!
