      Hi all,

Since I have been rewiring and updating my pit, I missed the 4.35 release. So I started with 4.35 and I’m unable to make my MFD’s working (extracting via MFDE).
      Any suggestions?

      Kind regards,

      PopTops

You installed U1? If not you must install it.

Also - make sure you’ve pointed MFDE at the new installation location…I tend to forget that sometimes myself.

If you are using the MFDExtractor 0.6.3.0 make sure in your falcon bms.cfg following 2 lines are set
to enable Extraction at all in BMS

              set g_bExportRTTTextures 1

Even so not used in 4.35 but MFDE requires the parameter to be present

              set g_bDoubleRTTResolution 1

Version of MFDE build from the latest source code don’t need the above setting to be made by the user as MFDE would take care, but the version you can downöload from github is not build from the latest source code

It’s a portable version so doen’t come with an installer. Just unzip and run the MFDExtractor.exe. Even no need to deinstall other MFDE version that are already installed
Just make sure that Performance tab is set correctly

                            Hi OakDesign,

Does the newer version of MFDE as posted above have as an option the extraction of the analogue clock ?

Nope neither the original dev nor myself had time to implement an analoge clock yet

thank you ! the portable version works fine …but only one thing doesn’t work

I use an external USB display and I need to relocate each extraction on my external USB display once time I start my computer

is there a way to fix that? I 'd like save the position of each extraction as it was possible to do with the installed version…
now each time I switch on the computer and the USB display, MFDE displays all extractions on my main screen …

@suhkoi69 Did you manage to get a counter measure to MFDE reseting the position of your extracted instruments to the main screen. I have the same issue and even if I modify the ‘MFDExtractor.exe.config’ manually to set the appropriate coordinates of the extracted instrum, MFDExtractor does not seem to read it…
I really don’t know where the location (X,Y) of the extracted instruments are recorded.
