SADES Headset for Virtual Pilots
-
I bought these Headsets for when flying on BMS and they work great. These are the SADES SA-708 on Ebay for $15-$20 price range, well padded and has an amazing sound quality with working Mic/Vol switch. Hey, I gotta save some $$$……:D Does anyone have one of these Headsets?? Post your comments on here…
Cheers,
TAC

I got a very similar one, made in China, 7.1 Channel. around $30, Value for money.

I might see about getting one of these, my current headset is USB, and I want one with the 3.5mm jacks instead.
cheap is good. My last headset cost $20, and lasted for… I guess 4 years? Comfy, too.

I own a Medusa 5.1 Headset (the one with the 3.5mm, not the usb version).
I got it as a christmas present, at that time (I think 2004) it cost around 80€.The quality of the sound is awesome, but the mic is very silent. I always had to use the mic boost of the OS, and the amplifier of TS in order to be heard.
What I dislike about those clumsy headsets, by time they feel heavy and - at least my ears - start burning.
Now it starts to get cracks and the material is crumbling. My next headset will be a cheap one. To be honest, it sucks to take care while taking it on and off.
It’s the same as with clothes, I don’t want expensive suits. I would start crying for every little smut or hole. And because of that, I would rather stop moving instead of using it.
That’s also the reason why I don’t want these expensive smartphones, with all the functions and gadgets.
I mean, they are cool, but with my stupid behavior, instead of becoming more efficient, I would become inefficient because of taking so much care of it. Atleast I never had anything broken (which also means I didn’t use it 100%) what is sad too. -
Wow! Amazing sound and the Mic works 100%, I feel like I paid $80 for them……

Hello everyone,
I bring you my experience on this subject. I bought a headset with Thrustmaster it three years ago, thinking that as my cougar loved, it would be of great material. But that was not the case. I had an earache after long flights, shells and pads are poorly designed. The sound was not great and it broke down after a year.
Fortunately I made this purchase from Amazon rembourssé it to me so I can buy a product from a range above.
All headphone / Midro not be overlooked. We spend long momments in our cockpits to enjoy our passion. It should not be gachée by painful ears or a poor quality listening comfort. Thrustmaster is the undisputed king of Hotas manufacturers, but in terms of headphones is a little different.
So I decided to change to a product of a brand specialized in audio since a very long time: Sennheiser. I found a headset with comfort expeptionnel both my ears as my eardrums.
This headset has been designed by players for jouieurs but the rigor of the famous Sennheiser acoustics, which is no longer in doubt. Since I have no pain and I can tell you that the sound is beautiful! The price may seem a bit high, but it is largely justified, believe me. It is a high-end headphones. ;);)
Since my purchase other models are out, thus monitored.
Here is my model: -
I have been using Sennheiser for ages, and I’m looking for a new one.
I agree that sennheiser although more pricey are top notch. I was indeed considering the same 320 model to replace my actual oneQuestion to you Tigerman, fo you get two separate jack with the PC-320? or is it a single one 3 pole?

Hi, Red Dog,
It’s with 2 x 3,5mm Stereo jack. I can assure you that I would not change for another. All is well designed and it is a joy to spend time with. And the TrackIR Pro Clip is secure. -
I have Sennheiser PC 360 and they are excellent. Great sound and super comfortable. Just needs a tweak for bass in the equalizer. I used to be a staunch believer in 5.1 headsets until I got these.

Same here and the microphone is the best of any headset I’ve tested or seen reviewed.
