This theater is WIP. Plans for realistic bases and tweaking of campaigns and evolving jets still in the works.
That being said Chuckles provides us with three working campaigns and ccc gave us many China and Taiwan aircraft.
Cargo, awacs, ground attack, chopper, and interceptors.

Ahmed has Taiwan theater in his F4WX real weather converter .There is new campaign development starting from this version 4.35.3.
Campaigns have new versions of type 71 ships that carry attack choppers.

great job guys, and hope everyone enjoy the mod.
bear in mind that falcon engine cannot simulate all real-life weapon/tactics/strategy, so don’t expect the cams work like real thing. just have fun.
BTW i did plan to expand DB to cover cam timeframe from 1950-today or near future, but found the workload is way crazy… thus i focus on modern day stuff. many new items still need realism data edits - hope somebody can take over the editing job.

My idea of SAVE3 is about the conflict in the area of Kinmen(Chin-Men) islands, Matsu island and Wenzhou bay.
The idea is based on the real history about the second Taiwan strait Crisis. But because of the limitations of the game and the weapon we have in the BMS
I intend to modify the story: PLA 's goal is taking up Kinmen islands . Chinese Nationalist force of ROC 's goal is defending Kinmen islands and gain air superiority over Kinmen islands, Matsu island and Wenzhou bay.
So it’s no need to put so large number of ground troops in the Taiwan islands or mainland China in this campaign. Only enough PLA troops station near Xiamen prepare to launch attack of Kinmen.
So this will speed up my campaign editing.This campaign will focus on air and sea dominance. Win condition for both will be the degree of weakening of enemy air and naval forces, besides the gains and losses of Kinmen Island!:p
Chinese communist PLAAF will control F-16 aggressor to simulate J-11 or J-10 if you want to play PRC side.
Chinese Nationalist force of ROC have F-16A/B BLK20 as in the real world if you want to play ROC side.
Both will be set as balanced as possible.
As for SAVE4, I am still thinking of… Maybe “Counterattack the mainland and save our compatriots” or “Liberate Taiwan and unify China“ ? HAHA

Yes! ED i knew we already have J10/11 and pit. But if i set this campaign for TVT purpose. I think players will need F-16 aggressor(Not everyone is familiar with operating J-10/11 cockpit) for better control and balanced between two sides.
So i suggest adding F-16 aggressor for TVT purpose.
I will set F-16 aggressor SQ “HQ” uncheck. Make sure it only be controlled by human if players want TVT. At the same time, true J10/11 are controlled by AI. -

1. use whole taiwan DB for your KTO. you’ve to edit campaigns to use new toys.
2. extract models/skins/data and do DB editing. lots work.
