Kotar range TE

Is there a TE available for bombing at the Kotar range for a single player that doesn’t start in flight so I can choose the loadout?

You can create one your self! Just go to tactical engagement. Find the TE Builder button. Click on it. Find the kotar range. Its somewhere in the top right in South Korea. Rightclick on it, click add flight. Choose, if not already, the f16 block 52. Click ok. You can change the loadout or do it later on. Click save and enter a name and click save again… Then press back en choose the saved TE. Easy as that!

Why not building by your own?
It is simple…
If you do not know where Kotar range is, select (do not know exactly yet) “Other places” on the map, (, like show squadron and so…), and you will have an icon on the map.
Place a squadron on one AB, select one flight on the icon from Kotar range, select e.g. “Training”, and so on, but you can choose also as a a2g-mission (there you have a debrief).

Excellent occasion to learn to build a TE yourself

On the TE page, click sur TE builder. Then once on the minimap, find the KOTAR, right click, “Add flight”. Choose your aircraft, the airbase you are taking of from (I advise Kangnung), and choose “Start at…” -> “Takeoff” (instead of target). This way the takeoff time will be 1 min after the time of the TE.

You can edit your loadout with one of the button on the left.

Moreover, I advise to have a look at the “Victory condition” tab, change the TE type to “Sortie” instaed of “Engagment”. This way, you wont have a pilot rating after you fly.

There is a lot more to say, but the best is still to figure it out yourself while playing with all options !

It’s sound Soooo easy i’m surprised we don’t see more TE’s availabale on the forum

another Te advise then. Make sure the target is never on your side, otherwise you will get the 'target Captured, return to base" Awacs message and the Ai will not even take off

Training TE’s 22, 23, and 28 all take place at the KOTAR Range. I have been running them this weekend with help of Red Dog’s KOTAR checklist.
