      Hello Gents/Ladies,
I am Michael-Louis and a new recruit. I am greating all you learned pilots and computer visards (which I am non of them) and vishing you very good game plying and lots of victories.
I play BMS4.35 for about 6 mths and programmed my x52 with Joytokey because got fed up with silly Logitech SST and Pinky issues. I have different profiles for the diferent modes and load them accordingly. After landing when speed got down to the proper level I used to enable nose wheel steering by pressing DF MRM OR (Joy 4 on Saitek x52). This same button cycled wpn delivery modes in the air if I changed over from NAV to A-G mode. Now in NAV mode when landing it does not enable same but instead changes to A-G WP delivery mode, does not cycle and does not enable NWST. Consequently I run away beyond the RW to the grass. Very embarassing. Any of you can help what can I do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance. Cheers. ML.

The Alternative Launcher can really help find and fix problems in your HOTAS / keyboard bindings…

On US KB Hit SHFT-/ to enable NWS, on everything else It’s SHFT- (the keyboard key that is just left of your right shift key)… until you figure out Alternative Launcher… 🙂

Edited - thanks for the clarification Oak…

Only true if a US keyboard is used.
So the general answer would be use Shift and the keyboard key that is left to your right shift.
So on a US keyboard NWS would be Shift /
On a german keybard it would be Shift -
            on a french keyboard it’s Shift !
BMS doesn’t work with characters but with keycodes of a certain button on the keyboard

Thanks very much. It works with a little difference. After hitting Sh/ NWS light comes up with a DF missile screen but after hitting KB c to cancel DF mode it disappears. Thanks again.

You are only hitting this on the ground, correct? On the ground it is NWS On/Off (I usually hit this ~80MPH as the rudders will work at that point), once the wheels are off the ground it is Missile Step (next station). If it is somehow pressing the “D” key (Dogfight Mode) i’m not sure whats going on…

Yes I pressed C on the grd. My KB is hungarian (which is similar to german but 7 keys are different) No probs BMS gives me the keystrokes accordingly (e.g. Orbit camera is Ö and Padlock previous Ü, etc.). Actually joy4 button is a multy fanction button and preprogrammed in x52 with different functions for NAV or AA or DF mode to DF MRM OR, When pressed in NAV it brings up DF mode and cycles through different WPN modes. When pressed in AG mode it cycles through different bombing modes. On grd it supposed to initiate NWS. This joy4 did all these up till now but now it misbehaves and by hitting only brings up the AA missile page in NAV without cycling and the same on grd after landing, but without NWS. So fare works only what you suggested. Most likely somehow DF comes into it but I do not know how come. I tried to program same with different button but no change. The bug somewhere inside. Many thanks ICER.
