Solved no touch win 10

I have two 20" dell touch screens e2014t that I cannot find driver support for win 10. Dell says they are not going to create a driver for them. So, my work around would be to put win 7 back on my networked pc because there is driver support. Having win 10 on my BMS machine and win 7 on my networked machine, will I be able to extract data in helios? And will my touch presses be sent to BMS over the network?

Yes helios can be run networked but you would have to run some additional tools in order to do so- you need a shared memory mirror in order to get the gauges running on the networked helios otherwise it has no data to update those
- depending on which Diplay Extraction you use with Helios either build in or RTT you need that either with Shared Texture mirror or RTT Client Server setup
- for the other way to receive keypresses from Helios on your Pc running BMs you need to have the keypress receiver that comes with Helios to be installed so that button presses on the touch screen get send over the network and beeing received and send to BMS

Saved me from asking the same question… Got an ASUS VT168H Touchscreen on a networked Win7 pc, hoping to use Helios to connect it to the main BMS pc as I had one back in the day with YAME64. Issue I had with YAME64 was having to tap a touchscreen button (like MFD OSB) twice to get it to register, every button, every time. Really hoping that I don’t run into that same issue with Helios (like finding out it’s a Windows issue with no workaround, or something).
Thanks, oakdesign!
