ICP button 6
-
The 2nd detent trigger on my ThrustMaster Cougar JoyStick seems hopelessly bound to ICP button 6 (TIME). I can’t seem to get it unbound and assigned properly to the “gun fire” action it should be; it just keeps showing as ICP 6. The BMS assignments screen is pretty difficult to use, but I don’t see anything obvious as the problem there.
I am seeking some advice on where I should look for the definitive mapping (not the assignments page) and how I can fix this issue?
Thanks

Check your keyfile for duplicate entries for the callback SimICPSIX. If there are then one of those duplicates may be tied to your trigger. You could rem one of them out, start BMS, go into the control panel and press the trigger to see if it clears up and also press the correct icp 6 button to make sure you didn’t rem out the wrong line. Do this until you find the bad line.
I had a duplicate close speed brakes line in mine for quite a while. I would have to press the button multiple times sometimes to get them to close all the way. I thought it was just something wrong with my switch for a long time until I stumbled upon the duplicate while working on some changes to my keyfile.
Or as stated above, you could start over with a clean file.
