MFDE error

Since it is a spanking new install on a new OS, could MFDE be requiring some .NET version to be present ?
Great question - by default 4.8 is installed on Win11. It won’t let you install 4.7.2 which i do see referenced in some of the config files.
-
Right, one solution might be to rebuild MFDE based on 4.8 into a W11 compliant version.

Willing to try but would access to source and whatever open source (assuming) compiler is needed.

Yeah, I am not sure how to go about that, sorry. I suppose there is an official MFDE thread somewhere?

@jayb @Zeus @Icarus
I think @oakdesign made an updated build… see this threadhttps://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/20220/mfd-extractor-not-working/8?_=1642896447368

Problem exists with that version. The updated version. Not the other versions.

@icarus ~~- agreed, its that version that seems to be missing some supporting files at least on clean Windows 7 and Windows 11 installs.
Anyone have an older version that I could try?~~
CORRECTION:
I downloaded @oakdesign 's version and that seems to work. It’s still labeled 0.6.3.0 but it’s working! Thanks all! -

@icarus on Windows 7?
(a) confirm you have both SP1 and the post-SP1 “platform update” installed (needed for BMS and DX11)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36805(b) confirm you have latest .NET Framework (4.7.2 or 4.8) installed

@airtex2019 Fully updated and it doesnt work on clean install Windows 10 either. I think it is because I have old video card with old drivers. Confirm on both.
