Solved Radar / SOI Cursor
-

hello guys,

another question for you… I’m struggling with mini stick on the Throttle for the radar cursor. Good but not wonderful, it’s quite imprecise! especially when I’ve to deal with laser and LGBs.

On the alternative laucher I’ve seen there’re some keyboard settings already set (shift + arrows), for some reason if the ministick is set up with their own axix, the keyboard does not work. Tried to bind a POV with alternative commands, but same behaviour…the only working is the mini stick

So my question is there a way to keep the ministick working and also a keyboard or another bind on the HOTAS for fine tuning of the radar cursor movement?

thank you

@Necker
I think it’s one or the other (keyboard/hat -or- analog thumbstick) not both.

There is a config option to control the overall speed of the cursor…

Also, if you decide to use the analog thumbstick, there are some special cfg options to apply sensitivity-curves to the axes.
https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/20793/how-do-you-slow-the-speed-of-the-x56-mini-stick-that-controls-the-cursor

I haven’t tried it, but I’ve seen people recommend this setting in the cfg file:

set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_X 50
set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 50
