Joy Stick Switch not right
-

It has been 20 since original Falcon came out. Found the new updates can’t wait. All loaded up using Warthog system. On beginning setup after loading both devices. Confirmed that moving a switch matched. Not problem with throttle or stick control. But none of the buttons work. After checking TG!, TG! should be DX1 and DX6. When testing they show up 33 and 38 after programming. I must have missed something. I can fly like a son of a gun but not being able to return fine makes for short flight.
Thanks

@sirvalley What key file are you using … is it the stock ‘BMS - BasicDX TM Warthog.key’ ?

-

@airtex2019 yes, that would be correct. I know both controllers are good and working. Fly MSFS 2020 no problem. Using the latest version of BMS and current on outdated.

After “programming”?

Are you using TARGET or do you use the devices as “pure” DX input devices?

Cheers, Uwe

-

I am using pure. Never got a chance to try anything else.

@sirvalley

really recommend using the Alternate Launcher. Makes setting up controls so much easier for me.

https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/10789/falcon-bms-alternative-launcher-easy-setup-keep-joystick-assignments

Sorry my misunderstanding. I am using 1.6 alt launcher. I really thought the launcher might be the problem. I have tried to program the keys.

-

@sirvalley are you programming your stick buttons through the launcher?

@sirvalley
Which AL version recently added the default templates, for many popular sticks and throttles… is that in 2.0? I’d recommend give that a try.
https://github.com/chihirobelmo/FalconBMS-Alternative-Launcher/releases/tag/v2.0.0
